Here at Made From Grapes, we are big fans of Anders Frederik Steen & Anne Bruun Blauert's wines. Here we have an expression of Grenache from Le Mazels's old vines. Most of the grapes were slowly pressed directly into cuve and the rest are destemmed and left to infuse for a month or so. The wine is then raised in old barriques for two years. 

Here you get darker forest fruits and a slight savoury herbaceous undertone. There is a pleasing well incorporated volatile acidity and lingering cacao finish.
