Here at Made From Grapes, we are big fans of Anders Frederik Steen & Anne Bruun Blauert's wines. This is a perfect introduction to their wines! A deep rosé made form Syrah and Viognier from the Oustric's vines in Valvignères. As with a lot of their wines, the pressing is incredibly slow and gentle, taking place over several days. The red and white grapes are then blended for élevage in old cask until the following spring. 

This is perfect for the summer, and would work very well served chilled. 

For us, this is reminiscent of watermelon, blood orange and pomegranate fruits. A wine of thirst but complex and nourishing.
