How it’s made: Aged in a combination of new oak, first fill and refill American and European casks from some the most acclaimed wine makers and bourbon producers. About the maker: Waterford Irish whisky is all about the terroir. Influenced by the world’s greatest winemakers, Waterford wants to bring the same intellectual drive, methodology and rigour to Single Malt. Using single harvests of Irish barley from individual farms, the distillery team has crafted elemental whiskies that express a taste of place and time. Each batch of whisky is created to maximise the unique flavours of the underlying barley and all of its provenance.
