Nose | Palate: Serious whisky, fun to drink. 

How it’s made: The Lochend Blend is six different single malt whiskies married in an Australian Tawny Barrel. The backbone of this limited release rests on a single cask of Ledaig for smokey coastal notes, add to that Caol Ila, Ben Nevis, Brackla, Macduff, and Highland Park for body. Natural colour, non-chilled filtered. Only 320 bottles made. Artwork by Danny Crofts. 

About the maker: Blind Summit Whisky is a Leith-based passion project by two friends, James & Jamie. An independent whisky bottler focussing on exciting, brightly labelled, flavourful whiskies. It’s a bit more like the whisky equivalent to Gypsy Brewing with selection, maturation and bottling being carried out in different locations depending on which friendly warehouse is available.
