Nose | Palate: Roasted nuts, orange peel, gingerbread and soft smoke with raisins, salted toffee and a little sea spray. | Oily and robust. Smoked almonds, sticky dates, orange, earthy peat, chocolate raisins and a gentle peppery spice.

How it’s made: Orkney malt matured from a refill Oloroso sherry cask. Distilled 29.05.2018. Natural colour, non-chilled filtered. Only 190 bottles. Artwork Katy Sawrey. 

About the maker: Blind Summit Whisky is a Leith-based passion project by two friends, James & Jamie. An independent whisky bottler focussing on exciting, brightly labelled, flavourful whiskies. It’s a bit more like the whisky equivalent to Gypsy Brewing with selection, maturation and bottling being carried out in different locations depending on which friendly warehouse is available.
