Nose | Palate: White flower, honeysuckle, yellow plum, ginger, sponge cake, beeswax, butter and coconut | Waxy mouthfeel with peppery note and well integrated oak.

How it’s made: 17 Year Old Glentauchers Speyside Single Malt has been finished in two 30 Litre bloodtubs that held Foursquare Rum from Barbados. Natural colour, non-chill filtered. Only 105 bottles made. Distilled 23.03.2008

About the maker: Blind Summit Whisky is a Leith-based passion project by two friends, James & Jamie. An independent whisky bottler focussing on exciting, brightly labelled, flavourful whiskies. It’s a bit more like the whisky equivalent to Gypsy Brewing with selection, maturation and bottling being carried out in different locations depending on which friendly warehouse is available.
